Nuhuta island
(See also Trip to Tanimbar Kei and Nuhuta islands)
Nuhuta island is located between Debut and Tanimbar Kei that probably wouldn’t be worth mentioning, other than the fact that at low tide there is a stunning sand bar:

There are no permanent inhabitants on this island but residents of Tanimbar Kei and transient fishermen do come here for collecting coconuts and fish eggs. That’s how I ended up coming here actually, as the public boat stopped here for a day to get coconuts.
For accommodation there are basic huts:

In June, there were a few boats from Sulawesi collecting fish eggs:

And of course there was a fish in the evening:

Practicalities:
Nuhuta island is on the way to Tanimbar Kei; if you have a chartered boat it is probably worth the stop, if only to get off the boat for a walk. Nuhuta is about 1 hour from Tanimbar Kei and 2 hours from Debut. The sea between Nuhuta and Tanimbar Kei can be very rough!
